My clinical experience in working with anxiety shows that its causes can be identified when we allow ourselves the time and space to explore our reactions and experiences. This can happen quickly. We can then get on with the work of reorienting to ease – a longer process, and a very rewarding one.
Many people opt for help from a medication when anxiety is too disruptive – such as keeping them from getting things done, eating well, or sleeping well. The need for medication may be reduced significantly as we work together.
